Kevin Mallett
G. Kevin Mallett has represented clients in civil litigation for
seventeen years. His clients have included corporations of all sizes,
including insurers, partnerships and individuals. He has served as an arbitrator, a California Bar Association Special
Master and a judge pro tem in Contra Costa County. He has trial experience in state and federal court.
In addition to extensive deposition and general litigation practice, Mr.
Mallett has successfully arbitrated in excess of three hundred cases.
Mr. Mallett graduated with honors from Whitman College in Walla Walla,
Washington, and received his Juris Doctorate from University of California
Hastings College of the Law in 1983. He
has given seminars on civil procedure and trial preparation, as well as law
associated with security issues. He
has managed large civil litigation from hours after the occurrence of the claim
through trial and appeal.
Mr. Mallett grew up on a
ranch next to the Salmon Trinity Alps Wilderness Area, and prior to practicing
law has been a cowboy, a fire fighter, a commercial fisherman and a gold miner.
